MISSION STATEMENT
The Linn Group is a privately held Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) registered with both the Commodity Futures Trade Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA). For more than 30 years, we have specialized in a wide range of clearing services for Introducing Brokers, commercial hedgers, CTAs and futures traders around the globe. The Linn Group is a leader in commodity market information and analysis, and remains on the forefront of industry-related tools and technology. Our firm is dedicated to serving our clients with valuable market information, committed customer service, and thorough risk management.

HISTORY
The Linn Group began as a special execution firm with a focus in corporate grain and meat hedging brokerage services. It operated with floor members at both the CME and CBOT facilitating large order execution.

In the late 1970s, The Linn Group formed an Introducing Broker clearing division that today is a cornerstone of our business. An innovator in electronic order entry systems, The Linn Group's IB division also pioneered the utilization of digitized satellite technology to provide data and to communicate via an Internet-based voice squawkbox called FuturesLine with listeners worldwide.

While The Linn Group continues to be a major factor in international hedging services, trade execution, and Introducing Broker services, three new aspects of the company have grown in the last several years. Today, LG’s Asset Management, Risk Consulting, and quote and information products contribute to our diversified and highly focused customer service organization.

With more than 50 employees occupying positions in trade execution, risk management, private client brokerage, consulting and market information, and IB clearing, the Linn Group operates from its offices on the 12th floor atrium at the Chicago Board of Trade.
